Folk Remedies - Nature's Wonders!

The Doctors Book of Food Remedies reveals scores of "folk remedies" that modern research has discovered really DO work! Here are a few:-
'The 6-cherry remedy for gout - It dates back to the 1950's, to a Texas doctor who was so crippled by a gouty big toe, he was forced to use a wheelchair. He reported in a Texas medical journal that a diet including six cherries a day soon had him up and walking. He added that his physician tried the cherry diet on 12 patients and had equally spectacular results.'
'Stop embarrassing flatulence! with baking soda - To fight back against a gas attack, "add a pinch of baking soda to a glass of water and drink it down," suggests a leading holistic nutritionist. You may also want to forgo fruit at the end of a meal, because it causes fermentation. "Better to have your fruit first thing in the morning or at least an hour or so after a meal," she says.
'End Ulcers! with cabbage - Cabbage is an extremely effective ulcer remedy that dates all the way back to Roman times. In a study at the Stanford University School of Medicine, ulcer sufferers healed six times faster than people whose only treatment was the standard bland diet usually recommended for ulcers.'

Glyconutrients are necessary for every cell of your body. Cells are constantly being born and dying. Some of them, live for hours and some live for years and virtually every time period in between. Snake With a Smile

This morning, after phoning my Uncle, I discovered something to be wary of; the reptile called the Keelback snake. Definitely a snake not to be harmed as it likes to eat cane toads. It is the only predator that won't be killed by the venom of the cane toad - the great pest introduced to Australia to supposedly eat a beetle, also introduced, to save the sugar industry.
My cousin found the Keelback curled up in a water pipe giving him quite a start, however this snake is harmless. There is another similar snake which is poisonous with only one way to tell them apart. The Keelback has a smile and the venomous snake has an angry look....
Perhaps we could all carry a zoom lens camera at all times to see which snake is before us.

Mannatech Inc with founder Sam Caster, introduced their glyconutrient products to the world ten years ago. Their cutting-edge scientists have since produced PhytoMatrix TM, a plant-sourced multivitamin and mineral supplement giving important phyto-chemicals. Besides glyconutrients they have produced anti-oxidants helping to protect against free radicals formed by environmental pollution.
